Short version: the photos and illustrations on MotoMoku are ours. You can share them online with a visible credit and a link back. Anything commercial, printed, or AI-training needs written permission first.
Unless a photo says otherwise on the page it appears on, every photograph, video still and illustration on this site is © 2026 MotoMoku, created by Asad Mir. That includes ride photography shot around the UAE and Canada, bike and gear photos, and the illustrations made for our Biker Banter stories. Video thumbnails are stills from MotoMoku's own YouTube videos and are covered by these same terms.
You may reuse a MotoMoku image on a personal blog, forum post, club page or social media post — for free — as long as all of the following are true:
• The use is non-commercial: you are not selling the image, putting it in an advert, or using it to promote a paid product or service.
• You credit it visibly as "Photo: MotoMoku" next to the image or in the caption.
• You include a working link back to motomoku.com or to the page the image came from.
• You don't crop out, blur, or paint over the MotoMoku logo or watermark if one is present.
• Any commercial use — advertising, sponsored posts, product listings, merchandise, packaging, or anything sold.
• Print and broadcast — magazines, books, brochures, posters, television or film.
• Redistribution — uploading our images to stock libraries, wallpaper sites, image aggregators, or reselling them in any form.
• Modified or derivative works beyond simple resizing or cropping to fit a layout.
• Machine learning and AI training — MotoMoku images may not be scraped, ingested, or used to train or fine-tune any generative model without a separate written agreement.
Email asad@motomoku.com with the URL of the page the image is on, the image itself or its filename, where you want to use it, and roughly how long it will be up. We answer most requests within a few days, and for genuinely non-commercial community use the answer is usually a friendly yes. Commercial licences are quoted case by case.
Some images include identifiable riders, their motorcycles and number plates. A licence from us covers our copyright in the photograph only — it does not grant any personality, trademark or property release. If a person or a branded product is recognisable in a shot, getting their consent is your responsibility.
We try hard to publish only our own work. If you believe an image on this site is yours and shouldn't be here, email asad@motomoku.com with the details and we'll take it down or credit it properly, quickly and without argument.
