There’s something humbling about riding with a new crew in a new country — same bike spirit, new backdrop.
This was my first group ride in Ontario, Canada, and thanks to my old friend Murtaza Mankani, I had the honor of joining the Desi Riders Group (DRG). From the moment we met at the Burlington Tim Hortons, it was clear: this crew knew how to ride and how to vibe.
We kicked things off from Milton, riding out to our meetup point where we synced up over morning banter. From there, the loop took us through Burlington to Stoney Creek, hugging the lakeshore and cutting across the green farmland under the Niagara Escarpment. The roads here aren’t just beautiful — they’re welcoming. Wide sweepers, smooth surfaces, and just enough twist to keep your throttle hand honest.
Here’s what made it memorable:
The Crew: Yawar, Ashish, Farhan, and the one and only Zeeshan a.k.a. “Hells Devil” — who vanished at every apex like a corner-sniping ninja.
The Bike: I rented a BMW F750GS from Canadian Motorcycle Rentals (≈ C$230/day). Comfortable, responsive, and perfect for Ontario’s roads — it felt like my Dubai kit and riding style had found a Canadian twin.
The Ride: Think lakeside breeze, light traffic, and a route that flows like your favorite playlist. We kept it beginner-friendly, great for anyone visiting Southern Ontario who wants an easy yet scenic loop.
📍 Route Overview:
Milton → Burlington (meet) → Stoney Creek → Burlington → Milton
🚦 Ride Highlights:
Lakeshore riding in smooth formation with the DRG pack
Corner ballet performed by Zeeshan — blink and you’ll miss him
Quick fuel + Tim’s stops for laughs, chai, and “cc” comparisons
Friendly pace with scenic cut-throughs, perfect for GoPro B-roll
🔧 Rider Tips for This Loop:
Start early to dodge waterfront weekend traffic
Plan your camera shots — town roads mean frequent lights
Mind the speed zones, especially near Burlington and Stoney Creek
Respect the backroads — they’re tempting, but ride within your skill zone
🎒 My Setup:
Bike: BMW F750GS (rental from Canadian Motorcycle Rentals)
Camera: Helmet cam + quick handheld captures
Audio: Helmet mic (with wind muff) + post-processing
Gear: My full ATGATT Dubai kit held up great in Canada’s early autumn
🎬 Next Ride Teaser:
In the next MotoMoku Canada episode, I visit Aurangzeb from Lahore Farms — a local legend known for horse riding, tent-pegging, and mounted archery content. It’s a shift from horsepower to horse power, and one you won’t want to miss. 🐎
